Tuesday evening was the night that Laila Hafzi opened her new shop and atelier together with a choclatier and a furniture store. The shop was beautiful. I have to appologize for the blurry pictures of the shop, but I took them with my phone.
Lovely Rut Helen from oslonights.no took a picture of my outfit. I wore jacket by Dior Homme, jeans from Miu Miu, boots from Zara, bag from Miu Miu and fab new glasses from Selima Optique!
This week has been really hectic. Three shop-openings and one party in three days. But it has of course been fun! On Wednesday the first Monki shop opened here in Oslo. The shop is a crazy mix of colours and shapes. I found some pieces I could use! There were a lot of happy cool people at the event. Fun!
I wore shoes and jacket from Acne, knitted sweater from Prada, jeans from Balenciaga and scarf from Gucci. I also wore my new glasses from Selima Optique. The model is called Anouk.
Lovely Marianne! Check out marianne.carousel.no
Rut Helen and Cath. Cath is wearing my new glasses.
I wrote about my cravings for armless blazers when presenting the Dior Homme S/S 2010 collection. I bought this vest/armless blazer from Alexander Wang at Voga. I love it! The deep "arm-openings" is such a nice detail, very Wang!
I have a fling for armless blazers nowadays. I just bought a fantastic piece from Alexander Vang. And now when I see the pictures from Dior Homme's latest collection I can really see the coolness with the blazer. I love these designed by Kris Van Asche. I want them all, including the see-through shirts, the shiny jacket and the sand-coloured outfits! There is a true tailored coolness in the whole collection. I would almost call some of the looks rock-preppy, a combination I would very much like to see more of! Oh Kris, you now how to do your thing!
My big brother John B showed me today the latest in what to wear on your nose! And oh my what treats I got to see in his house of eyewear. He is outsourcing the two hipster brands Selima Optique and Cuttler and Gross. You can in the pictures below see me favourites from the collections. No chance in hell that I can not have a round Selima Optique piece. I mean - my Ray Ban Wayfarer is long gone forgotten after this.
My favourite model: Joseph! I love the details and that it has different colours in the frame and in the bows.
You can't have square glasses after you've seen the collections of theese beauties! SO COOL!!
There is more edge to the Cutler and Gross collection, but also with a playfulness and coolness.
