French Preppiness
I walked past this couple and stopped them immediately on my way to the metro. I really like how they look together, both in shirts, wearing grey jackets and she in pearls. They look preppy in a nice low key kind of way. Can you say low key bourgeois in French?

Black Swan
Yesterday I saw the movie Black Swan at a pre-premiere at a film festival here in Lyon. The film was absolutely fantastic - thrilling, esthetic and abstract. Here are the sketches of the costumes to Odette (The White Swan) and Odile (Black Swan) made by the sisters and designer duo Rodarte.

Flying A Magic Carpet
I love my little "fireplace" in my studio in Lyon. It is not usable for anything but special edition Diptyque scented candles.

17° Celsius
Yesterday was such a lovely day here in Lyon. It was so warm that people actually walked around in t-shirts. I love this girl's hair and matching dog. I really got into a spring time feeling when I saw her. Nothing like seeing femmes walking around in peep toe platform stilettoes in the beginning of January!

Post Celebration
On my way down from the little mountian called Håland and the new years celebration, I had such a lovely scenery around me. The Max Richter soundtrack Henry May Long was playing on repeat on my iPod, making the walk and the atmosphere even more magical - quiet and sad almost.

som et barn, av himlens bryster.
Likne sletten, full av sødme,
sitrende av fromt begjær.

Slik som hester står i regnet,
lutende, med våte flanker,
og lar duft av muld og væte
drive sterkt og søtt i sinnet,
vil jeg stå og bare være
og la himmel-yret falle,
inntil tanken fri for feber
følger drømmene til klarhet
i en steil og stille ro.

The First Minutes Of 2011
In my favourite ensemble of Batlak og Selvig jewellery, tee and the amazing high waist smoking trousers from Acne together with ski outerwear I celebrated the entrance of 2011 on a teeny, tiny mountain. Bad weather will never make me not celebrate in style.

The End Of 2010
December is a beautiful month. Here's the collage.
Pre-christmas yoga to lovely tunes, such as George Michael's "Jesus to a Child" and Salem Al Fakirs' "Astrounaut". Makes me forget about the stress outside.

Eating x-mas porridge and cookies at Nina Jarebrink's new flat was a treat. Christmas-kitch is the new black - combine a plastic tree with a fake fireplace and you've got the look.

The X-Mas Pose
When you are drunk you can be allowed to all sorts of poses in front of the camera! Here I am at the Christmas Cabaret Party at school together with lovely Kristin.

Wearing red is perhaps a christmas cliché, but when the red is signed Batlak og Selvik it's a whole different story. Tee, necklace, muff and bracelets all by Batlak og Selvig, highwaist trousers and boots from Acne, clutch from Balenciaga and black bracelet from H&M. My hair was done by Ron at Adam og Eva Gamlebyen.
