By Malene Birger Store Opening

I was invited to the opening of the new By Malene Birger Store in Oslo. The event was arranged by Spalt PR. It really really was a nice start to a Friday night - loads of champagne and sweets including macrones from Pascal - Yum! The store is beautiful, and the content even more beautiful. I have to say that I for every season like Malene Birger's collections more and more. I love loved the hats, that unfortunately only where used for decorating the store. I have taken some pictures of some of the lovely people that were there and from the shop.
I wore sweater and belt from Balenciaga, badges from Marni (blue) and Miu Miu (orange), necklace from By Malene Birger and my father's old trousers.
The hat!

Spalt PR's Pressday

Spalt PR's Pressday today was a great event. First of all it is always nice to be at Spalt PR's office because of the lovely girls working there. The pressday includes champagne, lovely finger food and cool people to hang out with. And of course - the most important - next seasons collection. And the collections that I find most interesting is by the Norwegian designers. I have taken some pictures of some of my favourite things. I used my camera phone, so some of the pictures are a bit groggy.
These two pieces by Vatle are fantastic! The body with the massive studded shoulders has an almost military feel. I would love to see it in my ballet class!

Every season G-Oslo delivers fantastic collections. I want want want the buttoned vest. The jumpsuit is perhaps the the it-piece in the collection!

I spoke to Cecilie Melli who has designed a collection and she said the collection is inspired by a trip she did to Miami. The collection has a much more fun and "upbeat" feel to it. Of course still the cute outfits, but she had edged them all up a bit. My lovely friend Anja Stang showed one of her favourites - a powder pink dress with pearl details.

Back in Business!

Several people have been asking why I have stopped blogging. Well, I have not stopped - it has been more of a pause really. It's been a real hectic time after the summer. I was accepted at KHIO BA Ballet (Statens Balletthøgskule) and started in august. Since then it's only been dancing, dancing and dancing. I have also moved. I live now together with my fantastic friend Hedda - best roommate ever! So - no time for fashion, fancy parties, blogging and the likes. But now I'm back! Even though my days generally are filled with ballet and training I will be more active on my blog.
So people, I hope you are happy.
The picture was taken a week ago. I have got a new haircut thanks to my amazing hairstylist Hanna at Adam og Eva Gamlebyen. The FANTASTIC shades are from über-cool brand Cuttler and Gross. Knit by G-Oslo.

Grrrrr!!!

Camilla Prytz has made a fab new collection of jewellery. This time it is not glass, but silver - and it is beautifully sculptured wild animals. The animals can symbolice different features - and these two tigers matched my safari/etni-style perfect. The styling is inspired by the summer seasons etni style, from for ex. Louis Vuitton. The safari jacket is from YSL River Gauche. Vest by Acne and tank by Vibskov.

Hanneli for Zanzuelle

My beautiful friend Hanneli has together with organic make-up brand Zanzuel made a lipstick. The launch happened with a photo exhibition by Dusan Rejin and an art film featuring Hanneli. I wore vest by Henrik Vibskov, tank by Acne and shorts by G-Oslo. The silver tigers are made by fab Camilla Prytz!

Summer

I've sure had a long summer holiday. The last two weeks I've been out sailing. I know this is not creative what so ever - showing a sailor inspired look, but I love the combo. The singlet is my dad's which he used back in the days when he was 17. The cardigan over used to be a sweater by C. Øberg. The lovely anchor-chain is by Maja Ljungberg.
