The Batlak og Selvig Outfit

A girl from the blog www.oslonians.com took these pictures of me at the Batlak og Selvig Show/Exhibition at Galleri Riis during OFW. For the occation I was wearing Batlak og Selvig head to toe, generally. Muff (the headpiece), necklace, top and dress by the two designers, coat from Burberry, jeans from Cheap Monday, bag by YSL Rive Gauche and sandals from Notabene.

Batlak og Selvig S/S 11

Batlak og Selvig had a show out of the ordinary this fashion week. This time, it was the fashion crowd that had to do the walking. The new collection had a much simpler silhuette, but the fantastic details were still there. Several of the pieces had a distressed finish - a great contrast to the very minimalistic look. I also loved their use of floral patterns.

Backstage at the S/S 11 Nina Jarebrink Show at Bern's Fashion Week

Long time - no see, indeed! It's been such a busy end of the summer that I've not done anything in here. The same day I came back to Oslo I flew straight to Stockholm to do the choreography for Nina Jarebrink's S/S 11 collection there. It was a lot of work, but very fun indeed. Low Key Preppy

It has not been many days of warm weather here in Western Norway. But I've gotten at least two days where I could wear shorts. Here I'm in my Nina Jarebrink sweater - fantastic monogram cable knit - and Whyred shorts.

Sugar

Top and blazer from Balenciaga, trousers from G-Oslo. Cotton shopper from the Nate Lowman exhibit at Astrup Fernley. Miu Miu bag. Cotton candy bought at Tivoli.

At Ruby

Maya and Siri were in Copenhagenn for a few days, and we went to the cocktail bar Ruby. Fantastic drinks and a really cool place to hang out!

Mustache

I met Lukas one night at Jolene. I've worked with him three times. He's the genius behind the big picture with me in the hat.

In The Window

Everybody should climb in a window sometimes. Here I'm wearing scarf by Batlak og Selvig, vintage Polaroids, tank from Acne, pants from Chanel, belt from Miu Miu and sandals from Notabene.

Jolene And The Shoes

Jolene is one of Copenhagen's coolest bars situated in the Meatpacking District. One evening I was there I saw a lovely lady wearing these fabulous shoes!

Quircky

Unfortunately yet another blurry picture of a cool person. Nico here is wearing a vintage dog-patterned women's dress used as a top, striped worker's pants and the most beautiful boots. Love the little green plastic cap and his round glasses. Cool!

The "What's in Your Bag" Bag

Very cool bag I photographed one evening at Bakken in Kødbyen (Meatpacking District). The only negative thing about it is that it must be hard using while travelling by plane ...

The Copenhagen Essentials

The survival pack for hot and dry summer days in the beautiful Danish capitol is:

The Wine Bar

One thing I love about Copenhagen is the wine bars. My favourite of them is Ved Stranden. It is fantastic enjoying a glass of great wine out in the sun looking down at the water.

The First Day In Copenhagen You Should ...

1. Eat brunch at one of the many great cafés around town, e.g. Café X at Illum (you can enjoy brunch while listening to live jazz music) or Laundrymat Café.

2. Have a lovely stroll around The Botanical Gardens (I live next to it).

3. Enjoy the lovely streets. And the bicycles.

4. Do some seriuos shopping.

Busy Summer

Dear readers (if I have ever had any/if I have any left ...). I've been in Copenhagen in over two weeks now, and I have to say that the Danish capitol is one the coolest cities I've ever been to. I'm here for a summer ballet course at the Royal Theatre. Besides long day of hard work in the studios I have met some great great people, done some shopping, eaten a lot of great food. I've rented a bike and been cruising around all over the city.

The reason I have not posted anything for a long time is because the wireless connection in the appartment is bad. Now I'm sitting at a cool café called The Laundrymat Café. And thankfully they've got wireless!
